Supple and lingering with a delectable finish.

This is a smooth and fruit orientated Gimblett Gravels blend. Deep purple in colour, it has a bouquet of dried herbs, red berries and subtle hints of cedar from a period of barrel maturation.

Central Otago's cool climate consistently produces exceptional red fruit flavours of cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, but with concentration and length to match. This wine is layered with black and red berry fruits, complemented by blossoming aromas of dark plum.

Drawing on history since 1956 and with 502 hectares of vines selected from the best family estates or 'fincas', grown in a continental climate between 350-600 metres above sea with both Atlantic and Mediterranean influences. The dry conditions allow for organic cultivation and the implementation of innovative technology to produce pure, flavoursome, balanced wines that offer outstanding value. This wine is comprised of all of Rioja's classic varieties - Tempranillo 60%, Garnacha 20% and Graciano 20%.

The grapes were harvested from a steep, north-facing hillside vineyard in Havelock North limestone country. The bouquet expresses the essence of Hawke's Bay Syrah; masses of black fruit, a touch of pepper, intriguing floral notes, some meatiness and lovely savoury oak. The palate displays a beautifully structured medium-bodied wine with silken tannins and great length.

Four Daughters have been periodically making this very attractive blended red since 2005. The current version is a 75/25 blend of Kumeu grown Malbec and Merlot. The wine is succulent and complex, rich and dry with soft tannins and ripe fruit characters.

Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Villages comes from the family-owned Duboeuf estate, famously known as the "King of Beaujolais." Made from Gamay grown on granite and sandy soils, it offers bright cherry colour, fresh berry aromas, and a smooth, harmonious palate. Best enjoyed slightly chilled at 14-16°C.
