Crafted from grapes grown in Mount Riley's Omaka Valley Vineyard in Marlborough. The fruit is harvested at night in cool conditions to preserve its delicate flavours and aromatics. Gentle pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks retains its freshness, while aging on lees adds texture and complexity. In the glass, it presents a pale straw colour with intense aromas of pineapple, lychee, Turkish Delight, and a hint of spice. The palate is off-dry, rich in ripe fruit flavours with a smooth texture and a long, lingering finish. Perfect with lightly spiced Asian cuisine or soft, creamy cheeses.

Made with grapes grown at low yields in their vineyards located in the central Wairau Valley. A fruit driven style of Bordeaux red with plenty of juicy dark and red fruits and a soft tannin structure. The wine was matured in a mixture of French and American oak barriques, with 10% new, for ten months before blending. In the glass, magenta purple. Aromas of bright, black, and red fruits, complemented with spice, with a hint of chocolate. The palate reveals a medium bodied wine with great fruit purity dark berries and red plum fruit, supple tannins, and lingering flavours.

The grapes are gently pressed, and the juice settled prior to fermentation in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to retain the bright, varietal aromatics, with a small portion in old French oak for added weight and texture. A pale straw colour in the glass, a nose of bright florals with apple and pear notes underscored with a fresh herbal seam with compliments of spice. The palate is just off dry with ripe fruit flavours, rich texture, and fresh acidity. Match with white meat, veal, Asian food, and cheeses.

Sourced from Mount Riley's Brookby Road vineyard in the Southern Valleys sub-region, where the diversity of their Pinot Noir clones allow them to make a complex and complete wine with vibrant, pure fruit character and depth of flavour. The grapes are cold soaked, fermented in small parcels and aged for 7 months in French oak barriques. On the nose, ripe cherry and plum characters are supported by hints of savoury spice and dried herb. The palate is approachable with soft tannins and intense fruit flavour. Silky texture and great length. Great as an aperitif or with savoury tomato or mushroom based dishes, salmon, red meat or pasta.

Made from grapes grown on Mount Riley's Litchfield and Anderson Vineyards in Marlborough's Wairau Valley. In the glass, a light straw colour. The nose reveals a perfumed wine with nuances of lime, pear and citrus blossom underpinned by spice and nectarine characters. The palate has excellent fruit purity, with bright lemon/lime notes with hints of apricot. Dryish with great acid balance and a refreshing mineral finish. Great as an aperitif or match with seafood, light meats & spicy foods.

A blend from multiple vineyard sites throughout Marlborough, with a portion from the Awatere Valley and the balance from the Wairau Valley. Grapes are crushed and de-stemmed prior to pressing and fermentation in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the lifted aromatics in this wine. In the glass, a light straw colour with green hues. On the nose, complex aromas of citrus, passionfruit, gooseberries and currant with a touch of crushed herbs. The palate has a weighty mouthfeel with intense although refined flavours finishing with a crisp acidity. Great as an aperitif or match with seafood, smoked fish, fresh salads, or chargrilled vegetables.

Grapes sourced from Mount Riley's Seventeen Valley vineyard in Marlborough's Wairau Valley. This is one of their warmest vineyard sites and along with super low yields produces the ripeness levels required for Syrah. Grapes are cold soaked, fermented in small parcels and aged for eleven months in French oak barriques. In the glass, magenta with purple hues. Aromas of floral, spice and white pepper notes. The palate reveals a structured wine with great fruit purity and great length of flavour. Match with red or gamey meats and pasta.

In the glass, a beautiful pale pink salmon colour. On the nose, bright and fresh with aromatics of strawberry, redcurrant and candied cherry with hints of floral and vanilla. The palate is dry in style with delicate red fruit and refreshing acidity. The sweet fruit is well balanced by a touch of tannin providing texture and length. Perfect on a summer afternoon matched with crayfish, salad nicoise or simple cold cuts while on a picnic.

Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.

Supple gooseberry notes introduces the wine before moving into a broadly textured mid-palate. A lovely acid line drives passionfruit flavours on the finish.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. Roaring Meg Pinot Gris features lifted and aromatic notes of jasmine, green pear & grapefruit on the nose. A vibrant palate of red apple, lime, yellow plum and lychee with balanced freshness from the acidity and residual sweetness for a buoyant and juicy finish.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.
