Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn't keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story... The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style - a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses.

Intense fruit flavours reminiscent of red berries, violets and liquorice. There is good structure on the palate, its well-rounded with fruity sensations and a long aftertaste.

Malbec is the Argentinian most emblematic grape and Hey Malbec! is a great interpretation. Red fruits combine with floral aromas and black pepper. The wine shows soft and ripe tannins that leads to a sweet and opulent finish.

Deep ruby in colour, this Cabernet Sauvignon opens with rich, concentrated aromas of ripe dark cherry, blackberry, cocoa, and sweet spices. Soft, chewy tannins lead to a long, lush finish. Ageing select lots in bourbon whiskey barrels enhances the finish of smoke, sweet spice, and cocoa when added to the final blend. RUA Pinot Noir has a rich and generous palate, with black cherry, raspberry and plum notes supported by vanilla and classic Central Otago dried herbs. A subtle spiciness adds to the complexity. The silky tannins are well integrated in this fresh and vibrant Central Otago Pinot Noir.

Ruffino Chianti DOCG is an approachable, easy-drinking wine that has predominantly fruity and floral aromatics, with hints of spice and hazelnut. The palate is soft with a medium body and nice balance, displaying pleasantly fruity characteristics.

The wine exhibits aromas of blackberry, boysenberry and spiced plum coupled with dark cocoa and vanilla pod - there's a light spiciness in the background. The wine has a plush entry onto the palate and a seamless flow finishing with supple yet supportive tannins.
