The word 'ROHE' means territory. The Rapaura sub-region is one of the oldest and most recognised sub-regions of Marlborough, formed on the floodplain of the Wairau River. Rapaura Springs vineyards are located in the eastern part of Rapaura, with deep, even, fertile soils which grow strong vine. Vibrant aromas of black and white currant follow through to the palate with a layer of stone fruit and refreshing acidity. This wine is immediately appealing but will continue to evolve over the next five years.

Ageing select lots in bourbon whiskey barrels enhances the finish of smoke, sweet spice, and cocoa when added to the final blend. A superb accompaniment to bourbon-glazed grilled meats, charcuterie boards, hearty pasta dishes, and strong cheeses.

Golden straw in colour, this Bourbon barrel-aged Chardonnay has aromas of ripe, grilled peach, with hints of toasted marshmallow, vanilla bean custard, and baked spice pear. Rich, creamy, and concentrated flavours of grilled peach, lemon pie crust, graham cracker, vanilla bean, baking spices, and toasted oak lead to a balanced acidity and lingering finish. Aged a minimum of two months in American Oak Bourbon Barrels.
