Just like them used to make em'. Fat Bastard Chardonnay has an opulent, rich palate of grilled pineapple, spiced butterscotch and loaded with peach and apricot. Filled with macadamia and almond meal notes, the wine has a bright linear acid line bringing liveliness and freshness. Full bodied goodness.

The nose is bursting with melons, peach and ripe tropical and citrus fruits, followed by a generous fruit-driven palate. Classic Chardonnay roundness, giving a mouth-filling finish.

Tropical flavours, lime zest, passionfruit and herbaceous characters. Great match with fish or salad dishes.

Pinot Noir; notoriously difficult to cultivate, but with luck, love & perfect conditions, she will reward you with the performance of a life time - a minx & a devil in disguise, a Fickle Mistress. Central Otago's cool climate consistently produces exceptional red fruit flavours of cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, but with concentration and length to match. This wine is layered with black and red berry fruits, complemented by blossoming aromas of dark plum.

Drawing on history since 1956 and with 502 hectares of vines selected from the best family estates or 'fincas', grown in a continental climate between 350-600 metres above sea with both Atlantic and Mediterranean influences. The dry conditions allow for organic cultivation and the implementation of innovative technology to produce pure, flavoursome, balanced wines that offer outstanding value. This wine is comprised of all of Rioja's classic varieties - Tempranillo 60%, Garnacha 20% and Graciano 20%.

Attractively fruited and nicely fragrant, showing peach, apple and pear and subtle spice aromas, followed by a juicy palate offering a smooth texture and a dry finish.

The grapes for this wine were harvested from the limestone-rich Havelock North hills. It was barrel fermented, and has aromas of grilled peach, vanilla and hazelnut. The palate offers juicy acidity, beautiful texture and weight, with a creamy mouthfeel and a delicious lingering finish.

The grapes were harvested from a steep, north-facing hillside vineyard in Havelock North limestone country. The bouquet expresses the essence of Hawke's Bay Syrah; masses of black fruit, a touch of pepper, intriguing floral notes, some meatiness and lovely savoury oak. The palate displays a beautifully structured medium-bodied wine with silken tannins and great length.

Four Daughters have been periodically making this very attractive blended red since 2005. The current version is a 75/25 blend of Kumeu grown Malbec and Merlot. The wine is succulent and complex, rich and dry with soft tannins and ripe fruit characters.
