The palate precisely balances richness with vibrant energy; modern and varietally expressive, with cassis, raspberry, mocha, spice, and a distinctive minerality that is uniquely 2021. The fruit ripeness is so succulent, it cloaks those profound, chiselled tannins that carry the palate on endlessly. With perfume, power, finesse, and length this is an absolute original. Aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry and star anise. The palate is soft and pillowy with a racing-stripe of boysenberry ripple through it. There are dark roses, raspberries, and notes of sandalwood and liquorice.

This Syrah includes a touch of Viognier, a traditional winemakeing technique in France's Rhone Valley. It introduces a delightful floral aroma and supple texture to Syrah's spicy dark berry flavours.

Jackson's Block Pinot Noir is sourced from estate vines planted between 1991 and 1995, expressing the depth and structure of this renowned site. Wild fermented and crafted with restraint, it reveals layered dark fruit notes of black cherry, plum and crushed blackberry, complemented by violet, subtle spice and mineral undertones. The palate is concentrated and linear, with fine-grained tannins, a firm mineral spine and impressive length, delivering a wine of precision, poise and cellaring potential - perfect alongside dry-aged beef, duck or earthy mushroom dishes.
