Bright ruby red in colour. Red fruits predominate on the nose, with strawberries, red plums and cherries. The palate is light and supple, with soft tannins and a fruity finish.

Deep ruby red with hints of violet. Mature fruity notes on the nose with hints of spice and balsamic from its aging. On the palate, this oak aged mix of Garnacha and Tempranillo grape varieties is soft and well-structured with a long lasting aftertaste.

A proprietary estate red blend sourced mainly from the warm, inland soils of Bridge Pa Triangle and Gimblett Gravels. Four Daughters have been periodically making this very attractive blended red since 2005. The current version is a 75/25 blend of Kumeu grown Malbec and Merlot. The wine is succulent and complex, rich and dry with soft tannins and ripe fruit characters.

A vintage that has produced a refined Valpolicella, very pure, dark berry, plumy fruit with fine grained tannin providing the structure. Medium bodied with some complexity and a long sapid finish.
