Introducing Challenge Accepted, a Hazy IPA packing two brand new, unproven, trial hops (CIP076 & CIP014) that are basically begging to be tested by someone awesome enough to handle this level of juicy. Juicy orange, luscious peach, and sticky mango that'll slap your palate with the confidence of a tailored suit and a killer pickup line. It's smooth. It's bold. It's ridiculously juicy. Because when you get the opportunity to play with experimental hops, there's only one thing to say... Challenge Accepted!

This is not your typical Hop Buddies. Instead Behemoth have opted for a West Coast version. Why? because Jason Bathgate and Andrew Childs LOVE West Coast IPAs! This beer is about 2 buddies coming together and using some of their favourite hops Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic in all of their glory. 9 years ago Jason and Andrew were involved in a horrible brewing accident leaving both with burns on over 40% of their bodies. Thankfully they have recovered and are currently doing what they love, making great beer. But without the help of Westpac Rescue Helicopter (amongst many others) they might not still be here right now.

Have have double dry hopped this Double Hazy IPA because, frankly, single just wasn't gonna cut it. Expect a plush, pillowy body that bounces with juicy hop intensity, big, bold, and unapologetically bouncy, this beer doesn't tiptoe in, it cannonballs straight into your glass. So, prepare for the double hop dropkick your taste receptors didn't know they needed.

Let me tell you something my friend, hops are a dangerous thing, hops can drive a person insane, got no use on the inside, better get used to that. It comes down to a simple choice. Ever wonder what a giant hop panda barreling through a bamboo forest holding a keg in one hand would drink? Behemoth decided it just had to be a double dry hopped Double Hazy IPA! So, featuring Churly as a fearless Giant Hop Panda striking a pose that says, "I dare you to try me!" What you see in here is 'the best darn lager made on Dominion Road'. Light, crisp, dry as, and super refreshing. Made with Pilsner malt, rice and a bit of German Hallertau Blanc hops. Originally made just for Churly's Brewpub and Eatery on Dominion Road and inspired by great lagers drunk throughout Asia. The perfect beer for all occasions.

Yep if you have ever hung out in Birkenhead in Auckland's North Shore you have likely hung out with these 2 legends behind the bar (and sometimes in front of it) at Birkenhead Brewing Company. Behemoth have teamed up with Steve and James at BBC to make a Hazy IPA with Clayton Nelson Sauvin Ampflire pallets and Cryo Citra. 2 intensely awesome hops for 2 awesome guys from the shore for a sure thing. Think Tropical, Gooseberry and citrusy goodness.

Introducing Hop Buddies #43: Don & Vlad, a Hazy IPA so good, it could broker the worst kind of peace talks. These two go together like sanctions and loopholes, swapping hops while the world burns brighter than their spray tans and propaganda machines combined. Behemoth have double downed on the haze with Citra and El Dorado hops, because seeing things clearly was never their strong suit anyway. So crack this can, toast to unlikely friendships, and while Don & Vlad are busy playing Risk with the planet, at least your biggest threat (right now...) is an empty glass.

Behemoth have teamed up with the one and only Hazy Wayne, yes, the hazemaster himself, in order to wrangle up a hazy IPA so juicy, so lush, it should probably have its own hype reel. They loaded this hazy with a glorious combo of Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin & a dash of Cryo Mosaic that explodes with tropical juiciness-think passionfruit, peach, citrus, and just a hint of swagger. It's soft, pillowy, and smoother than Wayne's two-step after three pints. Yes, it's kind of confusing to have Hazy Wayne and Juice Wayne. But Hazy or Juicy, Wayne is gonna drink it.

Brewed for annual West Coast IPA Challenge The Malthouse 2020. Using English Golden Promise Malt and loaded it with Simcoe, Mosaic and the new (and finally) named hop Nectaron (formally Hort 4337). Giving you pineapple, stonefruit and piney flavours. All work and no hops makes Churly a dull boy. Well a lot of work and a lot of hops have gone into the beer, enjoy!
