The wine matures and completes its fermentation in the bottle, resulting in a delightful frizzante. Resting in these bottles for 6 months, nestled 'sur lies,' undergoing a captivating autolysis process, imparting a fine layers of lees within the bottle.

The first to plant Pinot Noir grapes in the famed region, Martinborough Vineyard produces the finest Pinot Noir in the New World with a focus on 'Handcrafted Excellence in Wine.' A succulent and complex Pinot Noir showing heady aromas of dark red fruit, Asian spice and earth. The finely concentrated tannins intertwine with ripe, fleshy red fruits.

Wonderful aromatics of dark cherries and dried herbs and spices instantly grab your attention on the nose of this elegant Pinot Noir. On the first sip, your palate is greeted with soft, rich fruit flavours with a hint of spice. The moreish tannins and a velvety texture make for an impressive finish.

Deep crimson, lifted aromatic notes of Doris plum, dark fruits, chocolate, violet and dusty herbs. The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Tietjen's vineyard in the Hexton Hills appellation of Gisborne. Grown on Kaiti clay loam soil and planted in 2009, the fruit is 100% leaf plucked around the fruit zone and only two canes are laid down to ensure good ripeness, colour and texture in the wine.

Aromas of ripe melon and peach abound with butterscotch and fig notes. The palate is rich, with ripe fruits, showcasing peach flavours and an inherent creaminess, and a lingering bright finish.

This full-bodied wine is packed with fruity notes, earthy undertones and soft tannin. Brooding, complex nose with hints of plums and blackberries. On the palate light mocha and rich full berry flavours. The wine has good concentration with a smooth finish. Enjoy with meat, cheese platter or tapas.

The Pinot Gris is a pale straw colour with a hint of gold. A fragrant wine with jasmine, almond and pear notes. Palate is full-bodied wine with spice, pear, fig and honeysuckle favours. A lovely light salmon colour with hints of pink. Bursting with strawberries, cherries and subtle floral notes. A lovely aperitif style or easily enjoyed with summer salads and seafood.

Pale straw colour with a hint of gold. This Gisborne Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of tropical fruit, passion fruit and subtle herbaceousness. The palate displays flavours of melon, dried herb and subtle passionfruit. The wine finishes with a richness and fullness seen only in good Sauvignon Blanc.
