The delicate assembly of the expression of a harvest and a majority of reserve wines, some of them held in magnums for between 7 and 15 years Special Cuvée is composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged for twice as long as required by appellation regulations. It is moderately dosed at between 7 and 8 grams per litre.

Drappier is all about natural authenticity using low sulphur, low dosage and organic practices at the vineyard. One of the last family owned champagne houses who still work the land and make their own wines. High in Pinot Noir content (75%), yum, which makes it rich, fleshy, powerful, complex and full of finesse.

The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. It also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey.

River Run is Chard Farm's Central Otago regional Pinot Noir made from grapes grown in their vineyards in different sub-regions of Central Otago. The deep alpine valleys and waterways of Central Otago have craved the land available for grape growing into quite distinct sub-regions. Each pocket of land has its own unique climate and soil mix producing quite different styles of Pinot Noir. River Run captures the character of each of the sub-regions where are vineyards are planted. Lowburn gives bright, fresh sweet fruit, Gibbston savory and herbal tones, and Parkburn brings good texture and mineral length. An expressive and complex bouquet with sweet floral notes swirling around ripe cherry and plum fruit with aromatic spice in the background. There's ample fresh fruit and velvety tannin on a palate that is elegant, satisfying and highly drinkable.

Muted aromatics presage a seductive mouthful, with citrus, nougat and light yeastiness wrapped in a soft texture and a fine mousse. A touch of sweetness lends roundness to the palate, and freshness is maintained all the way.

The harvest from these parcels is always carried out later because of the dominant varieties, Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon. Careful vinification gives this wine depth, elegance and length in the mouth. The floral bouquet of the Cabernet variety is predominant in the wines youth but develops later towards the more complex aromas of a Grand Vin de Bordeaux. Beautiful deep colour with purple tints. Whispering Angel is today's worldwide reference for Provence rosé. Made from Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino), its pale colour is pleasing to the eye and draws one in. A gorgeous wine, with a dominant grape of Carignan grape. Just shows what old vines can do in the right soil. Rich, juicy and fruit-forward, it has aromas of white pepper, cassis, violets, and sage. Lush and decadent, with a lingering chocolate-raspberry finish.

Hints of spice, vanilla and toasted coconut accent sun-kissed black cherry and plum in this juicy red wine. A full bodied wine with ripe, yielding tannins and a smooth finish.

This bright, sunny, light-to-medium-bodied, salmon-coloured beauty is an elegantly crisp, refreshing, well-balanced, and deliciously dry Côtes de Provence Rosé.

A rather lovely wine, blending old-vine Grenache and Cinsault, with a little Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, grown at 350-metres altitude. Salmon pink with a touch of peach, there's an exotic lychee and fragrant mandarin and peach aroma, leading on to a crisp but textured palate with vivid fruit and a fine lemony acid balance. There's a little grip here that's welcome as a food wine, yet has charm and easy-drinking pleasure too.
