Lively gooseberry and ripe capsicum, layered with tropical passionfruit and grapefruit undertones. Best served lightly chilled.

A blend from multiple vineyard sites throughout Marlborough, with a portion from the Awatere Valley and the balance from the Wairau Valley. Grapes are crushed and de-stemmed prior to pressing and fermentation in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the lifted aromatics in this wine. In the glass, a light straw colour with green hues. On the nose, complex aromas of citrus, passionfruit, gooseberries and currant with a touch of crushed herbs. The palate has a weighty mouthfeel with intense although refined flavours finishing with a crisp acidity. Great as an aperitif or match with seafood, smoked fish, fresh salads, or chargrilled vegetables.

Supple gooseberry notes introduces the wine before moving into a broadly textured mid-palate. A lovely acid line drives passionfruit flavours on the finish.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. Roaring Meg Sauvignon Blanc is reminiscent of Central Otago. Lifted and vibrant notes of guava, passionfruit and pineapple with fresh herbal elements give this wine its classic Sauvignon Blanc profile. Juicy, ripe and bold flavours race across the palate, followed by a mineral and saline finish to lengthen the palate. Best enjoyed with Bluff oysters.

This gorgeous example of Marlborough 'Savvy' has it all - pure aromas of crushed citrus, the front palate is juicy and lingering with bold fruit flavours and a smattering of fresh cut greens. The refreshing grapefruit-like acidity draws out to a long, mouth-watering finish. A perfect drop with friends and BBQ seared scallops.
