Tie one on. Hook Jaw - American Brown IPA. A careful blend of oats, crystal and toasted malts delivers a complex base, with notes of chocolate, chewy caramel and dark roast coffee, deftly balanced with Chinook, Cashmere and Mosaic hops giving punchy bitterness and layers of blueberry, grapefruit and tangerine. You'll be hooked.

Hopfenkissen: A traditional German 'hop pillow', filled with dried hops flowers, said to aid calm and relaxation. Hopfenkissen, German style Pilsner. Brilliant golden lager bier, with a pillowy white head and fresh baked white bread malt sweetness, deftly balanced with a blend of noble Hallertau and Spalter Select hops.

Beer and ballet - an unusual Pas de Deux. Brewed by Garage Project for the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Hops on Pointe teases the boundaries between high and low culture. Brewed with premium German malts, Nelson Sauvin hops and finished with a champagne yeast, the result is a pale gold lager with a crisp, clean palate, rich tropical fruit aromas and tight champagne bubbles. Marion Street, inner city saison, a style of beer from a simpler time, lovingly recreated for the new urban world. Fermented with mixed cultures, aged in oak barrels and blended with a portion of aged sour stock, it's an easy drinking farmhouse style ale with a subtle tart twist. Garage Project are heading south for their fifth collaboration with Boston brewing legends Trillium, down to Garston Hops in Southland's Nokomai Valley. A massive dry hop of hand selected Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and NZ Cascade bring passionfruit, peach and citrus in this giant juicy hazy homage to one of New Zealand's most exciting new hop growing regions.
